We believe every Veteran deserves a clear understanding of their options when pursuing VA disability benefits.

What We Offer

The Inspired Veteran Program provides independent medical evaluations and documentation completed by Dr. Hopen in a timely, thorough, and personalized manner.  From start to finish, you will work with a single point of contact, ensuring clarity, continuity, and a high level of service.

Services may include (as clinically appropriate):

• Medical record review

• Independent medical opinions

• Secondary and aggravation evaluations

• Functional impact statements

• Review of prior VA examinations

• Physician-completed DBQs

 

When This Service May Be Helpful

Many Veterans choose this option:

• For initial claims when they want a comprehensive, physician-led evaluation

• After going through the standard VA process and needing additional clarification or documentation

• When seeking a second medical opinion

• When they want a more detailed and personalized review of their medical history

 

No-Cost VA Examination Option

Veterans may also obtain an evaluation through a VA-contracted vendor, such as:

• Veterans Evaluation Services (VES)

• QTC Management

• Loyal Source Government Services

• OptumServe

 

VA examinations:

• Are scheduled by the VA

• Are provided at no cost to the Veteran

• Are often the most appropriate financial option, especially for initial claims

Why Some Veterans Choose a Private Medical Opinion

Some Veterans elect to pursue independent evaluations through The Inspired Veteran Program because they:

• Have experienced delays or frustration within the VA process

• Have completed the VA process and want additional review or clarification

• Desire a more thorough and individualized evaluation

• Need stronger or more detailed medical documentation

This is a private-pay service and is entirely optional.
